The MSC fleet is expanding!

MSC cruises have some of the most fantastic and stunning cruise ships at sea and they have just announced that they are going to build 2 new ships for delivery in 2017 and 2018.

These ships will have no expense spared with a cost of approx 700 million Euros each the architecture will be revolutionary and they are aiming to have extensive deck space that will be accessible to passengers and aim to bring passengers closer to the sea level giving a feel of being on the beach. This is going to be a sea level promenade style area called the ‘Seaside’.

Another highlight will be panoramic lifts with sea views!

The ships are scheduled to be built at Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and will be 154,000 gross tonnes and accommodate 4,170 passengers.

The new class is likely to called the ‘Seaside’ class of ships.

From my experience MSC really know how to construct a ship and decor is always beautiful, I am sure the 2 new ships will prove to be a huge success and very popular for both UK customers and the rest of the world.
