I think its time for a break…

A sunshine break!

Anyone that knows me will know I love my holidays, well don’t we all! It is so great just to fly away to warmer climates, relax in the sunshine, eat great food, drink non alcoholic cocktails in my case and take it easy!

So on Wednesday my Husband and I will be flying out for our last holiday as just a twosome before baby Broad arrives!

As I will be 6 months pregnant I had to consider a few things, such as how long will the transfer be? Are the flight times good? Is the accommodation up a steep hill? I wanted things to run as smoothly as possible so we chose Costa Teguise in lanzarote. We have been here twice before and I would class it as an ‘easy’ holiday. We can jump in a cab from the airport and be at the resort in 15 minutes, flights are from our local airport and day flight times so no hanging around or late nights for me travelling, the resort is easy to get around and we know where there are some great bars and restaurants we can visit and say Hi to old friends!

We enjoy eating out when we holiday on land , rather than the all inclusive type of resorts. Its different on a cruise ship we love the food side of things on the ship but for a land holiday we don’t like the ‘canteen’ style buffets, much prefer to head out and find some local tapas restaurants!

Plus you can only cruise until you are 24 weeks, And I will be 26 weeks pregnant so cruising just was not an option for this holiday!
