Forget further afield, look closer to home this Summer!

There are so many exotic beautiful cruise destinations to try but why not think about something a little closer to home, a British Isles cruise. These are becoming more and more popular every year and I can understand why. Personally when I plan a holiday the first thing I am thinking about is where i can get some sunshine, OK it’s unlikely you’re going to get that around Britain but think about the ports of call, i can guarantee you will think wow I’ve never been there before and its somewhere that’s right on my doorstep.

I love city breaks around the UK but they can actually work out very costly, especially if you’re heading to the other end of the country, once you add on the flights and transport it can work out a costly couple of nights away so why not consider sailing around your home country on a beautiful cruise, knowing you’ve got fantastic accommodation, food and entertainment to come home to at the end of the day after a day exploring the likes of Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cork , Dublin, The Orkney Islands, the list goes on!

On average a British Isles sailing will be around 12 nights, giving you plenty of time to relax on your sea days and enjoy your chosen ship whilst shopping and sightseeing on your days in port plus normally you will find overnight stays too in cities like Edinburgh.
Cruise liners of all stars and budgets offer British Isles cruises as there is currently so much demand for them! Whether you like the informal Thomson, or maybe Princess cruises or even Oceania cruises there will be a cruise for all tastes and budgets.

So why not try something different this year and explore the British Isles!
