Women lives on Crystal Cruise ship for 8 years

Yes you did read that right. I recently read about a widower from Fort Lauderdale, Florida who has taken cruising to the next level. Lee Wachstetter 86, had always enjoyed cruising when her husband was alive. When they were younger they use to take their young children cruising, so it has been a life long passion. Sadly when her husband passed away back in 1997, the day before he told her to never give up cruising. You could say she has definitely taken him up on his word. When asked how many countries she had visited Lee replied with when I got to 100 I stopped counting.

Can you imagine the wonders she has seen, the people she has met along the way? The doesn’t come cheap, Lee has estimated this year alone will cost her around £116K, which I have worked out at costing approximately £317 per day! Wow that is amazing. She likes nothing more than to have a dance after dinner, usually lasting around two hours. The fine dining has got the better of her as she has gained 25 pounds since she started her travelling.

Reading on I also learnt that before the Crystal Serenity Lee lived on Holland & America for 3 years as well, but she decided to leave as they announced they were doing away with their dance program. This lady really does have sea legs.
