Norway here we come!

After many weeks deliberating over Cruise lines and Itineraries, I have finally booked my birthday celebration Cruise.

2020 will see me turn the big 50 and myself and husband were looking at Cruising without the children. We can only squeeze a week in so it had to be somewhere in Europe.

Norway has always been on my wishlist as the scenery looks amazing and the small towns and ports look so much more relaxed that those of the big city ports.

It wasn’t hard choosing the Itinerary as many of the main Cruise Lines feature such trips. Geiranger was a must as we want to experience the Seven Sisters waterfall as the fairytale landscape, snow capped Mountains and deep blue Fjord. We also visit Alesund, Stavanger and Bergen.

The Ship is going to be the Newest edition to the Celebrity Fleet joining them in April  2020. She will be the Sister to Celebrity Edge which debuted the end of last year.

She will carry just under 3000 passengers which will be half the amount of my last cruise. Celebrity have a staff ratio of almost 2:1 so service always remains high. I see the cruise line as more adult focused although they do offer great Children’s club activities.

Offering some amazing state of the art accomodation, from Interior staterooms to a 2 storey villa she will surely be a heart stopper.

So the countdown begins!
