Exciting News from Major Cruise line just announced!

It has been announced this week that a Major Cruise line is set to feature its first ever Waterpark.

Competition is very keen out there for Cruise lines to cater well for families. Many of the more traditional lines like P&O, Cunard and Princess have avoided such activities relying more on the fun activities the Children’s clubs have to offer along with the standard pool areas but this week Princess Cruises have announced that they are adding their fist onto one of their family ships in time for Summer this year.

The cruise line will be adding The Reef Family Splash Zone that will be an area for adults and kids alike. It will be Located aft on deck 17.

It will feature;

Splash Pads

An interactive and inviting water playground features a splash pool, assorted water sprays and showers where families can enjoy a day of splashing, laughing and playing. The focal point is an interactive whale feature, with ‘rain” from its fluke.

Game Zones

Bringing family competition to a whole new level with oversized backyard games and a kid-friendly bar setting, families can grab some cocktails and mocktails while challenging the kids to a game of Connect Four, Jenga.

Outdoor Furniture, Canopy and Wind panels will also be added to enhance the upgraded outdoor area for guests looking for less sun, a canopy will offer a section of the Reef shade and sun protection while wind panels will be installed throughout the area for all-day comfort.

Over recent years Caribbean Princess has undergone a major revitalization, with many family-oriented features and amenities including breakthrough technology, family accommodations, new dining experiences and entertainment offerings.

She also caters for the larger families like mine with 2 bedroom Suites now having been added.

Caribbean Princess was first added to the princess family back in 2004 but has had many improvements over the last few years including its most recent back in April 2017.

The Ship will go into Dry Dock early Summer 2019
