What does a bumper car, sky diving and a ship have in common?

Well, the answer is, of course, the Anthem of the seas with its amazing facilities.

It is now on sale for 2020 from Southampton at long last. It will sell fast so if its something you were watching, book it now

I mean skydiving at sea!!!

This is just one of the Quantum class ships that I for one have been waiting to come back and sail from the UK.
I went on her when she was launched and fell head over heels for her, I just loved the technology on board, I loved the layout which is a bit different than the likes of the Freedom class ships, such as the Independence of the seas.
I have never laughed as much as I did when we took our life in our hands and tried the bumper cars, I have loaded the video on my facebook page if you want to have a look, it was on the Ovation though as I forgot to switch the video on when we did it on the Anthem.

It doesn’t feel quite as mad as the Freedom class ships, there is no ice rink, for instance, there is no Royal Promenade but there is a Royal Esplanade.

Shops, of course, there are some nicer designer shops as you would expect.

There is a lovely lounge at the back of the ship called Two70, in the day this is a nice place to sit and chill and take in the views from the back of the ship with the huge windows, in the evening, however, the whole place changes and the windows become part of the show, there are also video screens that move and people are popping up from below the floor and out of the ceiling, its such a high technological feat of genius whoever thought this idea up.

You can get food from the Two70 cafe in the morning and afternoon if you are peckish and don’t want to tackle the Windjammer.
There is a 2 storey music hall on this ship and if you love live entertainment then this is right up your street, there was an 80s band on called the Wild boys when we went and they were amazing.

I have to mention the North Star, it is like a London pod on the eye and you rise to 300 feet above sea level and the views are just wow, this can be booked on your cruise personaliser as it saves waiting as your slot is timed for you but not for you if you are terrified of heights maybe.

I am not going to go on about what is onboard as you can take a look on the website but I have popped some of my photos on for you to have a look.
Take a look at the virtual balcony cabins, they are just amazing and I could sit and look at them all day, I will dig out a video and pop in on my facebook page for you to have a look at.

Dont forget to say hello to Gigi the giraffe as well, she is the mascot

All in all, this is an amazing ship, well worth a look if you want something different, you certainly won’t see the kids if they are into their video games

Take a look and let me know what you think
