My Wish List Cruise – Thank You NCL!

Thank you NCL indeed, as they are now cruising to my most desired place on earth.

A new destination for 2017 on the Norwegian Jewel is a fantastic cruise to French Polynesia and the South Pacific! Departing from Tahiti on the 23rd October for 17 nights of utter bliss cruising to such fantastic destinations as Bora Bora, American Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, and New Caledonia before finally arriving into Sydney – then just think you could have a few days in Sydney before you fly home – YES please this is the cruise for me!

If you are like me and don’t want to have the formality of dressing up all the time or having a set dining time, then perhaps NCL cruises is for you.  I really do like the “freestyle” dining they offer. This is basically giving you the flexibility of eating when you want. They have a lot of dining choices from the choice of 3 main dining restaurants to buffets, bar and grill, and finally not forgetting the huge choice of speciality dining they offer. Then we come to the great entertainment, from Broadway shows, live music, casino, and much more. If you like RCL entertainment I am sure you will like this too.

They currently have 14 ships which range from the Escape with just over 4000 guests to just under 2000, again if you don’t like a big ship you do have the option to have something a bit smaller. Cabins and suites on NCL are smashing, I really do like the Haven suite accommodation they offer. These are different sizes of suites within a private area, only access is by key card. You have a choice of suites from the huge garden villas which have 3 bedrooms to family villas down to penthouses and spa suites. All of these suites have a private courtyard with own pool and sundeck (very nice they are too!) Some of the benefits of staying in a Haven suite apart from the above is the butler service, priority embarkation and disembarkation, your own Haven restaurant, treats delivered to your suite and so on.

Let me not forget either that NCL cruises have one of the biggest supply of Studio accommodations for the single travellers and currently also offering a great all inclusive drinks package.

My only complaint is that this “desired” cruise is operating in October next year and with my sons wedding in May, I just cant afford to do both! I am hoping that this cruise is a sell out (which I am sure it will be) and I can do this in 2018. For a long long time this has been my ultimate holiday – so Mr Millward if your reading this, you had better start saving!
