About Me

Hello, and welcome to my page.  I have been working in the Travel Industry for over 38 years,  it really just seems like yesterday! I am married with 2 grown up children and a beautiful grand daughter.

After a couple of years at New College Durham learning Travel and Tourism and gaining an OND, I started working for a small independent travel agency in Newcastle Upon Tyne.  During my travel career, I have worked for the multiples such as Lunn Poly and Going Places (all gone now) as well as working in business travel for a short while.  I also worked as an air hostess, that certainly opened my eyes!  I have been very lucky in my career and visited some wonderful destinations, cruised on some fabulous ships (and maybe some not so good ones!)

After living “down South” for many years, I eventually came back home to the great city of Newcastle and have worked for Cruise.co.uk for over 4 years now, and love it!

Qualifications

As well as my own personal experience as a cruiser, it’s important to me to make sure I have as much in depth knowledge about as many cruise lines as possible.  Below are just some of the qualifications I have received after completing training and details of the cruise lines I have studied.
