Wow Me MSC!

Msc? I have always wondered what they are like, they do occasionally  get some negative comments, but why? They are after all an Italian cruise line and we all know what Italian class is all about.  You just need to look at the likes of Versace and Prada.

Well, my wonderings are over as this Saturday I am lucky to be one of the privileged few to embark on a 4 day cruise from Venice to Barcelona on the Presozia.  The ship is re positioning to Brazil so it will give us a great opportunity to sample the hospitality for ourselves.

Part of my job is to familiarise myself as much as possible on all the different cruise lines we sell. This is usually done by attending on line training or in the training rooms in head office. This is a bit different as we have been asked to attend by MSC.  We have a really good and different itinerary which includes a behind the scenes tour, which I am really looking forward to!  We will also be looking at the Yacht Club staterooms, attending a question and answer session with MSC staff and also hosting our own presentation by our management team.  On top of that we get to sample all the different restaurants on board and attend a gala dinner (posh frock and “magic” knickers standing by!)  A lovely highlight will be a stop off in Malta one of my favourite Mediterranean islands, as I am a bit of a history buff!

In case you did not guess, I am really looking forward to this trip it will certainly open my eyes and expand my knowledge to what MSC cruises are all about.
