Luxury all the way on this lady!

I really have a wonderful job you know, I get to visit a lot of cruise ships and for a day I become a passenger and get to have a taste of it all.
Some of these ships are more than I can afford, well when you pay for everyone to go it does become expensive but just for that one day, I can forget all of that.
Everyone loves a bit of luxury and the Oceania Marina did not fail to impress, from first boarding her and seeing the simply stunning elegant staircase I was as they say bowled over.

She is a lady in the true sense of the word, she has elegant lines and she is dressed to perfection.
If she was a person I would say she is a Grace Kelly or maybe Audrey Hepburn, very classy.
I mean when you board a ship and they have real Picasso’s on the wall you know it will be special.

Throughout the ship, you will see lots of artwork lining the walls and a lot of Murano glass as well, I love Murano glass, it is bright and in stairwells that could be a little bland it certainly livened them up with all the color, although this ship could never be bland I have to add.

The Martini bar was somewhere else that was bright as well and quite pink due to the lighting, here you can sit on bar chairs that cost £10,000 each ( I am sure they are counted)
This is also where some of the artwork on the walls was Picasso and had a plaque to say it was the real thing.

The restaurants onboard were just simply relaxing and where else could you eat off Versace plates with silver cutlery.
I just loved the red ginger which of course had a lot of red around the place, quite a Thai feel here.

Toscana was another lovely bright restaurant run by Italian staff, each of the restaurants has it’s own kitchen so nothing is cold as it does not have to be brought from elsewhere.

The terrace cafe I just loved as it was very cool and relaxed in there but nothing here is basic at all

The Reserve was another where there are only 24 seats and served up some amazing wines from all over the world, I am not a great wine drinker but we sampled a gorgeous wine from California which was ice cold and just on the slightly sweeter side of medium dry, wow, gorgeous, I wish I had noticed the name but I was too busy taking it all in, I mean the ship of course, not the wine.
There is a part between Toscana and the Polo grill that is reserved for possible parties of up to 10 people and it is called Privee, you can choose food from either the polo grill or Toscana or a mix of both, imagine that sat in your own private area, perfect if you are on honeymoon and have guests.

There are so many restaurants on board this ship, the French one Jaques is also a fabulous one, again small and elegant.

I have never known steak as tender as the steak I had on this ship, they buy their beef from one farm and the meat is in the top 2% in the world, they spend over twice as much as some of the biggest ships out there on food and considering they are a third of the size you can just imagine the quality.

I could actually talk about this ship forever but I won’t as it will go on forever, I have not even touched on the cabins, if you take a look at my facebook page there are more photos on there including a couple of the cabins.

Let me just leave it here by saying if you want luxury and quality and great food then this could be just the cruise line for you.
Check it out, Oceania Cruises, I was on the Marina.

They kind of sit nicely between Cunard and Celebrity and Silversea and Regent. in between a five and six star, although you would not notice it was less that a six star in my opinion.

Thank you Oceania cruises for a wonderful day.
