Royal Caribbean‘s 225,282-ton, 5,400-passenger Oasis of the Sea will leave Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, its home port since December 2009, on 1
September 2014 on a 12-night eastbound transatlantic cruise to Barcelona. It will offer two five-night round-trip cruises from the Spanish port, followed by
a seven-night sailing to Rotterdam.

So what can you expect from Oasis of the Sea.

2704 cabins including 2 storey loft suites and luxury suites as well as RCCL usual favorites balconies with sea or promenade view, spanning over 16 passenger decks.

Oasis of the Sea, takes the saying “Thrills and spills” to a whole new level by introducing a zip wire 9 decks above sea level travelling 82 feet, giving anyone brave enough a spectacually view of this beautiful ship.

The fun don’t stop there!!!! along with five swimming pools, 2 rock climbing wall, miniture Golf course and volleyball and basketball courts there is also sloped-entry beach pool to 2 surf simulators in the Pool and Sport Zone.

For anyone maybe not seeking Thrills and Spills, there is the Vitality at sea spa and fitness center featuring range of spa facilites including packages for Teens.

Oasis of the Sea has the first living park at sea. Their very own open air Central Park homes over 12’000 plants and 56 tree along with boutiques, resturants and bars including access to the Rising Tide bar which can be raised and lowered between 3 decks.

On top of all this Oasis of sea hosts a 700 seater Aqua Theater and large fresh water pool,  here passengers will be treated to day time and evening live entertainment including the Broadway hit “Hairspray” and shows by an array of performers including divers,  synchronized swimmers,  specialty divers, and  acrobats. A good tip when choosing your cabins –  those in the aft Boardwalk-view balcony cabins and suites will have prime viewing seats for all these amazing shows.

Lastly if all this just isnt enough you also have Royal Promenade with great choice of restaurants and shops,  temporary tattoo parlor, casino, Youth zone with their own science lab and computer gaming, several bars lounges and Entertainment Place.
