Snow fun or cruise misery??

Winter has finally arrived and with all the snow it has brought for some great fun, for others it is a holiday nightmare.

The snow clouds only need to sneeze over our airports and there is runway panic resulting in flight delays and even complete cancellations. Devastating for those with flights booked to meet a cruise, in climates much warmer usually. Even more upsetting when it hits home that the flight was booked indepentently and not with the agent that booked the cruise, therefore having no financial protection on the cruise. It happens every year yet holiday makers insist on saving £50 or so by booking the flight themselves. I say never do it, especially for any flight departing November through to February where a cruise or hotel is waiting for you, it’s not worth the hassle, the lost holiday and lost money.

I have no holidays booked for myself so for me the snow is fun fun fun, my little 10 month old loved it too getting a taste of the white stuff for the first as you can see from the photos, as did his big sisters.

Have you had a holiday where you have lost everything due to a flight delay or cancellation or better still do you have a story where your cruise agent has come to the rescuse because you booked the flight and cruise with them.
If you’re thinking of booking a late deal for this winter or a winter cruise for next year then make sure your flight and cruise is ATOL protected through cruise.co.uk.
