However I am always drawn back to Celebrity, and I know that anyone who has been with Celebrity will agree, they do, what they do, so very well.
You have the Facilities of large ship, but the Luxury of a small vessel, you have the Elegant and Sosphication of a Luxury ship, but then the Laid-backness of a larger one so in a nutshell they are just perfect for those that want Luxury but not the stuffiness that sometimes comes with it.
Celebrity have 3 different types of Cruise Ships, The Millenium Class which is the smallest, then the Solstice Class which is slightly bigger, and then the newest which was at the time of Launch, one of the most anticipated ships of the time – The Edge Series Ships! Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex.
Well soon we welcome another new sister – Celebrity Beyond.
She will have all the features that the Edge and Apex has,
Plus loads of new features that Celebrity have brought about, from a larger more expansive ‘Retreat Sundeck’ for Suite Guests, The main open pool deck will be 40% larger than the Edge and Apex allowing guests to spend more time outside, two floating pools that will be cantilevered more that 6 feet over the side of the ship amongst some of the new exciting features.
Just stunning – getting that connection with the sea which unfortunately on some of the newer ships today has been lost.
Getting even more exciting than that, Celebrity have also decided that the
Captain to helm Celebrity Beyond will be no other than one of the most famous Female Captains in the World – Captain Kate McCue.
And to show commitment to the UK Market, Celebrity will showcase Beyond in Southampton in April and her Maiden Voyage will be Southampton to Barcelona.
