Video emerges of staircase ‘waterfall’ after P&O ship blunder

A video has emerged of a P&O ship being flooded after water poured down the staircase.

The video was recorded on a guests iPhone and shows the waterfall down the stairs resulting in the carpet being submerged and passengers trying to avoid the puddles.

Apparantly there was no warning before the storm water began to cascade down the staircase.

The incident happened on Dec 30th when Pacific Aria was travelling between Cairns and Brisbane.

P&O have said there was no danger to passengers at any time and laid the blame on a tropical storm.

This blunder follows the news last week that sister ship, Pacific Eden was struck with Gastro resulting in 180 guests being unwell.
