My Top Tips For Cruising

If you have never been on a cruise and are thinking of booking your first one then it is natural to want to find out as much as possible about what to expect and read reviews from customers.

There are now so many groups on social media that can give you hints and tips so I have chosen my personal top 3 tips for anyone about to book their first cruise.

Remember To Collect Your Photographs

There are always photographers on board the cruise ships who will be taking many photos of you during your cruise.  They will be taking photos of you disembarking the ships at the various ports, during dinner and on formal nights on board.

If you wish to have these as a memento of your cruise you must pick them up whilst on board for once you depart the ship it is too late and those cherished memories will be gone forever.

Double Check What Is Included

One thing that is common for people not to double check are drinks packages.  It is always worth double checking before you set sail what drinks are included as standard on board.  For example, is a bottle of water included?

If there are certain drinks not included as standard that you know you would like to have then look at adding on a drinks package which can be done before you sail or once you get on board.

Don’t Be Afraid To Cruise Solo

A lot of people do not like the thought of holidaying on their own as they are worried they will feel lonely.  This is certainly not true when looking at a cruise.

Cruises attract a lot of single travelers because they are so well catered for on board a ship.  The ships have get togethers for solo travelers where you can meet like minded people.  You can also choose to sit at a large table for dinner which is a sure fire way of making new friends.

I hope these tips will help you when deciding on your first cruise.  I am always here to help with advice so if you wish to take the plunge (pardon the pun!) please contact me on 0333 300 2825 or [email protected]

Until next time Happy Cruising!
