Is The All-Inclusive Drinks Package Attractive To You!

Well it’s that time of year again when all the cruise companies are pulling out all the stops to get your business. Over the last few years a lot of the cruise companies have tried to entice customers booking with them by offering a free all inclusive drinks package. So I thought it would be good to look at all the major cruise companies to see what they offer drinks package wise, what’s included in their drinks package and how much do these cost normally.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN

Royal Caribbean on a lot of the sailings are offering the free Select drinks package with their cruises. This drinks package consists of beer (a selection of bottle, can and draught), wine by the glass (up to $8 value), fountain soft drinks with souvenir cup, non-alcoholic cocktails. So f your tipple is Gin, Vodka or Whisky, then you have the option to upgrade to the Premium drinks package for a supplement of $15 per person per night. However if there is no free package included in the cruise price the cost of the Select drinks package is $40 per person per nights and the premium package is $55 per person.

CELEBRITY

Celebrity cruises are offering the Classic package free on a lot of the summer sailings, their package includes soft drinks, plus all beers up to $6 per serving, wines up to $9.00 per glass and spirits and cocktails $8 per glass. To book this package usually would be $55 per person per nights for the Classic Package and $65 for the Premium package.

NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE

NCL often offer a free Premium drinks package on their cruise itineraries if a ocean view  or above is booked, which is worth in the region of $54 per person per night. However the great thing that NCL offer is if free all-inclusive drinks aren’t for you then you can choose instead free speciality dining free Wi-Fi or Free On-board credit instead.

PRINCESS CRUISES

Princess cruises are not offering any free drinks offers on any of their cruises at the moment. However an All-Inclusive Beverage Package which will give you any individual beverage such as wines, beers, cocktails, spirits, teas and coffees up to the value of $10 for a cost of $59pp per day.

HOLLAND AMERICA LINE

Holland America again are not offering any free drinks packages on any of the cruises, although you can but the Signature Beverage Package.
The package includes a variety of wine, beer, spirits, cocktails (including non alcoholic), sodas and coffee, up to 15 beverages (of any kind) a day. The cost is $44.95 per day, per person for the entire sailing and must be purchased on the first or second day of the cruise.

P&O & CUNARD

P&O and Cunard are two of the cruise lines that do not offer any all-inclusive drinks packages free or to buy on board. They do offer a Captains or Commodores wine package –  either four, six, nine or twelve bottles of wine with prices ranging from £72.50 per package right through to £200 for the Captains collection or £88.50 per package to £230 on the Commodores Collection.

FINALLY MSC

MSC are offering their free all-inclusive Allegrissimo Drinks Package on a lot of their sailing this year. This package includes soft drinks, bottled and draught beers, cocktails, wine’s (including Prosecco!), spirits, mixers and coffees! The great thing is if you do find a sailing that does not include this package, it only costs £22 per per person per night – which is great value for money.
