Life on the ocean waves has changed.

We are aware these days that life on board cruise ships has evolved so much in recent times, with many ships now offering technological advances and innovations which quite simply have to be seen to be believed.

There are however those people who still believe shuffleboard and napkin folding to be the pinnacle of on board excitement, well, if you are one of those people…..this is for you.

Check these out!

Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas is due to launch later this year, and guests on board will be able to step inside an observation capsule, 300 ft above the ocean, for a pirate’s eye view of the seas.

MSC Preziosa has a 4D theatre (something that combines a 3D film with other external effects that can be felt by the audience).

Quantum of the Seas also caters for those with a greater taste for adrenaline, why not indulge in a spot of simulated sky diving.

Norwegian Epic, meanwhile, has a bowling alley…

The Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas boasts a zip wire which can give guests a bird’s eye view…

Royal Caribbean also offer the FlowRider surf machine, giving a taste of riding the ocean waves… without actually being in the ocean waves.

Let me know if anything here surprised you, also any comments from anyone who has been on any of these will be much appreciated.

Bye for now.
