Happy New Year.

Just a quick one this week, as another year draws to a close I hope everyone has had a 2013 to remember, and hopefully for all the right reasons.

I’m a firm believer in travel broadening the mind so as I sit here working, a thought goes out to my son, who has just turned 5, who will be seeing in the New Year in Cape Town, South Africa. I hope it proves to be an invaluable experience for him.

Due to my wife being a stewardess for British Airways my son has the opportunity to follow her to work on her 4 day New Year trip. So while he reclines in his flat bed in Club Class, sipping an iced water and perusing the Nickelodeon offerings on his in flight entertainment system I know he’ll be in good hands!

So before I sign off for the year, I’d just like to wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2014.
