Princess cruises set to produce a new TV Documentary

Royal Princess

The Royal Princess is set to be host to a new TV Documentary for ITV in 2014.

The four part documentary will air this summer on ITV and follow some of the crew and passengers giving an insight into what life is really like on board. The staff featured will range from the Cruise Director, dancers, hairdressers and managers. It will really highlight how Princess strive to offer the best service at sea.

The confirmed date of the series is yet to be announced.

John Thompson is set to be the voice over for the series whilst it sails around the Caribbean including Princess Cruises own private island in the Bahamas.

Paul Ludlow, Princess Cruises’ managing director UK and Europe, said: “We are thrilled the crew on Royal Princess will star in this major series. We’re positive the show will strike a chord with everyone who enjoys travelling with us and also open up the appeal of cruising to a whole new generation of holidaymakers.

Royal Princess named by HRH The Duchess of Cambridge last year, which carries 3600 passengers and 1600 crew could not be a better host with her thrilling pool deck with movies under the stars, and Water Colour Fantasy show and most amazing of all the sea walk which provides magnificent views to the ocean below. She has already won five prestigious awards.

And what better publicity for the new arrival the Regal Princess.

I will most certainly be watching!!

As to the TV series, you guys are so lucky to live in a country where cruising is often an weekend break and not “the vacation of my life” deal.

Yes, my dear Sally, you’re one lucky girl! 😉
