Cruise’s? for Dog’s?

So we all take our annual holiday once a year, two or three times if we are lucky!

But what happens to our beloved little pets?? Rover the dog or Tilly the cat? Boarding kennels it is then, most of the time.

having decided right no more, we are taking are dog with us next time we go on holiday. We thought…..OK let’s try camping!! That did not turn out so great with the dog literally ripping the tent down from around us. Probably should have tried camping ourselves first before jumping in with both feet as this was a new experience for all of us including the dog, one not to be repeated! Suffice to say the tent is now in the bin and so was the dog nearly!

Second doggy holiday – OK let’s go upmarket this time and go for a caravan. But fixtures and fittings did not stop her! How much of a caravan sofa can one little dog eat……..let’s just say……..a lot!!

So having tried taking the dog on holiday we have now decided back to the kennels it is, until I saw:

“ 5 Star luxury cruise for dogs, sail the transatlantic in luxury kennels, be pampered by the kennel master, enjoy freshly roasted chicken for dinner and homemade doggy biscuits, walked and played with all day long, even get your own Frisbee, toy and life jacket!!”

WHAT, I had suffered rain falling in on me whilst sleeping in a ripped tent, the purchase of a new caravan to replace the one she destroyed, [ OK bit exaggerated but the damage deposit was not refunded]  and all along we and her could have sailed in the lap of luxury!!  Thanks for telling me now Cunard!

OK, admittedly it’s the not average doggy holiday and probably with all the paperwork and vet info only worth it if re- locating across the Atlantic, but what an untapped market hey!!??
