”How beautiful is Wales”

As you may have noticed I have not managed to blog for a few weeks due to a rogue virus wiping my blog with all its content. However thanks to our superb IT department they have managed to re-install most content and get me up and running, so it’s just a short blog today to let you know a brief overview of the past few weeks.

I’ve been out of the office for a couple of weeks helping my parents move house which I can honestly say was the longest week of my life to date, but I also managed to get a quick week away in Wales to make the trek to the top of Snowdonia. We based ourselves in Porthmadog and tootled around the Welsh coast up to Bangor, Anglesey, Caemarfon, and also down to Barmouth and Aberystwyth. It is true what they say, Wales has some truly beautiful scenery, if you want a relaxing week I can definitely recommend it. We decided to take the journey to North Wales after watching one of Michael Palin’s travel documentaries where he caught the old steam train to the top of Snowdonia. As we are not the fittest people in the world this was the perfect choice for us to get to the top. The train takes 2 ½ hours to go up & down, giving you half an hour at the top to get some memorable snap shots. You also get to race the walkers climbing to the top, guaranteeing that you will still be dry if it’s raining. The cost of the train is £25 per person, a bit pricey we felt but definitely worth doing.

Our friends have also had their annual Halloween party a couple of weeks ago where they spend two weeks transforming their house into the best haunted crypt you have ever seen, and then having the gruelling task of spending the next two months clearing it up. As always it was a fantastic night with the ‘Monster mash’ disco in the kitchen and the legendary ‘crime scene’ in the bathroom.

I pleased to say it’s still really busy in the cruise Market at the moment, there’s still some fantastic bargains to be had for last minute Christmas getaways, check out the WEB Site to get more information or just give me a call on 0800 408 6122.
