About Me
I live in Bromsgrove and work for Cruise.co.uk as a home worker, I’m only 5 minutes away from our Head Office in Redditch. Now for those of you not entirely sure of the beautiful sights that Redditch has to offer, if you go into any good book shop and ask for a book entitled ‘Roundabouts of Redditch’ you will understand why Cruise.co.uk is call centre based. I do believe they have produced a calendar or two on the same subject which really put Redditch on the map! If our clients not familiar with Redditch ever tried to find us to pick up their cruise tickets, they will most surely find that their cruise has departed and returned to Southampton by the time they found our car park!
Growing up I believed life had two main things to offer, ‘travelling’ and ‘meeting people’. With that in mind on turning 21 I decided to leave the UK and head oversea’s to experience the culture and lifestyle in as many countries as possible, with a view to return back to the UK in time to turn 30 years old, so my family & friends didn’t forget what I looked like. Along the way I have had some exillerating experiences, seen spectacular sights and shared laughs with so many great people.
When returning to the UK in 2009 I lived on the canal in Bromsgrove for four years, and was very lucky to enjoy the relaxed views of the barges going up and down the famous Tardebigge flight. It was also quite entertaining to see the Stag and Hen parties navigating out of the basin aboard their mini 5 star vessel embarking on their maiden voyage, with a steering rod in one hand and a can of larger in the other, apologising to the locals as they crash into the home owned barges announcing ‘Sorry, lost control!’.
At the grand age of 35 I have my feet firmly on British soil and have settled down with my partner Mark in my home town of Bromsgrove. So now I get great enjoyment in booking other peoples adventures and love hearing about all their unique experiences along the way.
I hope you enjoy reading more about the places I’ve been and worked and maybe give you a few ideas for your next holiday.
