Turkey/Engagement

Well I’m back from a fantastic holiday in turkey, as you will know Turkey is my favourite place and this time has been the best time I’ve ever had here.

We met some very nice people who live in Marmaris both English and Turkish. We have been thinking for the last couple of years that we would really like to live here, but we’ve never got round to doing it or we’ve  just kept putting it off. But this time has really made our minds up that we would really like to move over and live here. We wouldn’t do this for another year but this is something that we are really going to do so we are just getting the wheels in motion with our house and our jobs so we can move.

The other special thing that happened while away was my partner Anthony proposing while we was there, it was so romantic we was at a rooftop restaurant having dinner looking over the harbour when he got down on one knee in front of everyone (think he was a bit embarrassed) but it was the best moment of my life, my favourite place with the man I love.

While we was away I was really looking forward to showing Ant some cruise ships but the only one that we saw was the Thomson ship, now I did try and get a photo of her but it was late at night around 10pm when she started to sail and with all the bright lights I really couldn’t get a good photo.

I’ve only been back in the uk since Saturday and I’m off again to turkey this Friday now this holiday won’t be as special as the last but I’m really looking forward to it as I’m going back to turkey with my mum, sister and my niece a nice little girly holiday, we’ve never done one before and this maybe our first/last.
