Royal Princess Crew to star in TV show!

Royal Princess is to star in a documentary series scheduled to air this summer. With scheduled broadcast dates for this four-part weekly series to be announced soon, by ITV.

The Cruise Ship will feature behind-the-scenes footage of crew and passengers on the 3,600-capacity vessel, Royal Princess, which was launched last year by the Duchess of Cambridge.

Actor John Thomson of, Cold Feet and The Fast Show, will provide the voiceover for the show, that is sure to amaze even the most seasoned cruiser as the effort of crew members to maintain and provide the perfect cruise environment is played out above and below decks.

Paul Ludlow, Princess Cruises’ managing director for UK and Europe, said: “We are thrilled the crew on will star in this major series.

“We’re positive the show will strike a chord with everyone who enjoys travelling with us and also open up the appeal of cruising to a whole new generation of holidaymakers. We’re so proud of everything Princess Cruises has to offer and can’t wait for television viewers to see this for themselves.”

The last time princess welcomed cameras on board to view the antics of crew and passengers’, an icon of television was born. The love boat series ran for years aboard one of the cruise lines first ships aboard the Pacific Princess and is still fondly remembered by many.

Having been fortunate enough to see many aspects of cruise provision, that the everyday cruiser; is not able to witness. I can assure you that you will be totally blown away at the efforts that crew members go to, just to make sure you enjoy your cruise experience.
