‘CATS’ at sea?

One of my personal highlights of any cruise are the fantastic shows and entertainment. So you can imagine my excitement when Royal Caribbean announced that ‘CATS’ was coming to Oasis of the Seas!

As one of the longest running productions on Broadway and the winner of the Tony award, this Andrew Lloyd Weber production will replace Hairspray the musical.

So when will this be showing? The Oasis will have a refurbishment in October and then production will start shortly after that.

Royal Caribbean are famous for their excellent entertainment, other Broadway musicals include Chicago: The Musical, Saturday Night Fever and Mamma Mia

So what else has the Oasis of the seas got to offer?

Oasis of the seas features exclusive amenities with seven themed neighbourhoods. Central Park, Boardwalk, Royal Promenade, Pool and sports zone, Spa and fitness, entertainment zone and not forgetting the younger ones, youth zone. With 16 decks, 220,000 tons and occupancy of 5400 guests, the Oasis is a floating empire!

There is an 82 foot zip line, spectacular Aqua-Theatre on the back of the ship, carousel, side by side Flowrider’s – surf simulators, H2O kid’s Aquapark, cantilevered whirlpools, ice skating rink and much much more.
