What are The River Cruise Line like ?

River cruising is quite different in many respects to Ocean cruising for obvious reasons.  It is getting more and more popular these days especially helped by lines such as Viking River Cruises advertising on prime time television.

The River cruise line are a 3.5 – 4* line that have 11 vessels sailing over many rivers, they are a great way to try a river cruise as they represent excellent value for money.

I haven’t sailed on a river cruise as yet, however that is due to change in the near future as I am going down to Dover today ready for my Rhine Valley Christmas Markets river cruise on the MS Serenade I.  I’m dead excited about this and I can’t wait to experience a river cruise first hand.
