MSC announce two new ships with the possibility of a third

MSC have recently announced that they will be expanding their fleet of cruise ships with two more ordered and an option for a possible third.

These new ships will be the largest built for MSC and will hold up to 5300 passengers and 1413 crew members.

The new ships will be innovative and feature more outdoor spaces, shops, restaurants and also a sea-level promenade (I am keen to see how this will work).

I am sure that these ships are going to be beautiful with the latest in glitzy Italian design.

This is great news as MSC have some things to offer that most other cruise line’s don’t such as year round free kids places and in my opinion the best value drinks package at sea starting from just £20 per person per day for a 24hrs all-inclusive.  More ships will mean more sailings and itinerary’s giving passengers more choice and flexibility.

MSC are more of a Mediterranean style of cruise than many of their British and American counterparts, I personally had a great time when I cruised with them last November, you can read my blog about it HERE.
