You Kenobi Serious?

My friends and i have had our Last Jedi tickets in IMAX bought for a while now but not seeing it until next week. IT will be hard to avoid the spoilers with it coming out this week.

However there was one post i saw that i couldn’t resist tagging my other half in on, especially as we both love Florida so much and this was just added to the list of reasons to go back.

It’s not enough that Disney World Florida are opening the Star Wars: Galaxy Edge Theme Park, they are building a hotel to go with it! The only downside i can see to this is we have to wait until 2019 for the official opening.

Not much has been said about the rides as of yet. However Disney have revealed that guests will take control of the Millennium Falcon on a secret mission as part of the main attraction. Another highlight includes visitors being dropped in the middle of a climatic battle between the First Order and the Resistance. Several other attractions including the good old favorite ‘Star Tours’ flight simulator are also expected to make an appearance.

Now as for the hotel itself, it will resemble a spaceship from the Star Wars Universe. Guests will be transported into an immersive and interactive story which will unfold over the course of the stay in the hotel. There is also a rumor that it will be possible for visitors to take part in ‘Secret Missions’ as well as mix with characters from the films, duel with lightsabers and learn to pilot a spacecraft.

Other amenities that have been indicated include a pool area, a water-park and a fitness centre. Meals in the hotel will be taken at the ‘Cantina’, and the food and drinks would be served by droid butlers. Guests can expect to see a view of the ‘Galaxy’ from the window in the rooms.

I am really looking forward to hearing more about this and i’m sure many fans are too.
