My Family Holiday

By the time you are reading this, I would be halfway through my holiday, and this year, it isn’t just any old holiday, this year is a family holiday.  We have myself, and my wife; my two sisters and their daughters, my mum and her best friend, my auntie, and cousin, and we managed to persuade my Nan to join us.

We started our journey, very early hours of the 14th October, to get a minibus to Bristol airport, and then luckily a short flight, and short transfer time again.

We have travelled to Palma Nova in Majorca to the same hotel myself and my sister came to last year, the Sol Palmanova All-Inclusive.  It is a cracking hotel with kids club, and a kids pool with water slides so has plenty to keep everyone occupied.  It is also very close to the beach and shops and restaurants.

I haven’t had a big family holiday like this since a lot of us went to Florida in 2000, so it is going to eventful, to say the least.  At least, we are not all tied together and joined at the hip, everyone is free to do what they want – including myself, who is aiming to run 144km throughout the Rugby World Cup (which as it stands, isn’t going well – need to pick my running up).  But hopefully, I will be able to get a few morning runs in before breakfast whilst everyone is sleeping, as I am known for being a nightmare, I am always up early.

We are planning on visiting Kathmandu Park this year as didn’t get to do it last year, we did Marineland so my niece could experience a dolphin show.  With so many of going, I am sure we will do something together as a family and we will all enjoy.

I am back to work on the 22nd October, I look forward to speaking to all my customers old and new then.
