A Race Track, on a Cruise Ship……………. Nor-waay!!

You’ve probably wondered what else can these cruise companies offer you that no other company can!?  I certainly thought that NCL had given all it had to offer with going all-inclusive  -what more could you ask for?  More!  I hear you say, well how about this……… NCL are introducing a RACE TRACK to the cruise ships!  And not just ANY race track, a FERARRI race track!!  The creme de la creme!  So now you can pretend to be Sebastian Vettel!

A two-level Ferrari-branded competitive racetrack will snake across the top deck of the soon-to-be delivered Norwegian Joy, the line’s first ship custom-built for Chinese travellers.

Guests of up to 10 drivers at a time will be able to race each other in electric go-carts with the opportunity to have their photos taken at the finish line to share with friends and family back at home.

Complimentary rides will be on offer for passengers in Norwegian Joy’s The Haven and Concierge Class as part of the benefits that come with their suites and staterooms.

NCL is offering the attraction as part of a new partnership with Scuderia Ferrari Watches which will be featured in an onboard shop adjacent to the racetrack. The Scuderia Ferrari racing team is the inspiration beyond Scuderia Ferrari timepieces, which evoke the sculpted forms and signature design details found on Scuderia Ferrari racing cars.

The 3,850-passenger Norwegian Joy is due to be delivered on April 27th from Meyer Werft after a grand inaugural port tour leading up to its naming by ‘King of Chinese Pop’ Wang Leehom on June 27th. The ship is then scheduled to sail from Shanghai and Tianjin.
