Surprise!

Surprise

Yesterday, I booked a surprise break for my Mum and I at the beginning of May. I can’t say any more or I will spoil it for her so that will have to come in a later blog. I have told her that I will let her know what to pack and not to worry as all harnesses and parachutes are provided! As my poor mother is scared of heights, it has certainly got her thinking. There will, of course, not be any heights involved, that part was purely for fun.

I also booked two surprise cruises yesterday for a gentleman wanting a present for his wife’s special birthday and also for another wanting a perfect location to propose.

The nicest part of all the arranging was telling Mum that  I was taking her away as a surprise. One of the nicest things in life is treating your loved ones whether this be an unexpected visit, a simple card or an outing. It is just being able to say that you love and appreciate them.

I am privileged to have booked many surprises for my clients over many years. This has ranged from exotic honeymoons and even weddings and vow renewals (yes, you can do all this on a cruise), to just having a beautiful bouquet waiting for them in their cabin.

This Sunday, March 30th is Mother’s Day or Mothering Sunday as it is traditionally called.

Whether it’s a cruise, flowers, cooking a meal or just a phone call, surprise your Mum or use the excuse of the day to show someone else that you care.

On a personal note, my son was born on Mother’s Day and so he says that he was and is still my perfect present.

This year however dear son, it is also my birthday on March 30th (no my birthday doesn’t alter each year but Mothering Sunday is always the 4th Sunday in Lent so that changes) so you can’t claim credit for that one!!

For the cruises call me on 0800 408 6192, for the cards and flowers, try Tesco!
