Hawaii, why not??

This week I have booked a lovely group of ladies on a cruise around the beautiful islands of Hawaii.

HAWAII~HULA DANCING

There are no direct flights to Hawaii from the UK and so the journey is long with 18 hours flying time in their case with a couple of stops. They will be away for almost 2 weeks.

So……is it worth it, travelling all that way???

My answer to that is absolutely yes!

Some people think that travelling to Spain for less than 14 days is futile and wouldn’t even entertain the idea of a long haul holiday for less than 4 weeks. Why is this? I would rather go away than not. The world is not that vast now in terms of travel options and my philosophy is that I’d rather have a week crammed full of memories in exchange for a couple of days of jet lag than not have gone. Of course, in an ideal world it would be better to have endless time and funds for these jaunts but both are often restricted for the average person.

I work in the Travel Industry and I love travelling the globe. I have been to several long haul destinations for a week or less over the years.  I have spent “long weekends” in Hong Kong, Antigua, St Lucia and Canada to name a few. It’s not just Paris and Rome where you can do that.

I think my ultimate experience of this  must have been when I went to Australia for a week a couple of year’s ago. It took a lot of planning and was tiring but absolutely amazing.

Within 24 hours of landing in Sydney, I had climbed the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge ( which had definitely been on my bucket list) and had a surfing lesson on the famous Bondi Beach.

During that week we also had a harbour cruise, a tour of Sydney Opera House, flew to Cairns, met a gorgeous koala bear called Snoopy, dived at the Great Barrier Reef, trekked in the rain forest, took a turtle spotting yacht trip and enjoyed all the wonderful food and nightlife that Australia had to offer.

Cruises of Australasia or the Far East for example are a wonderful way to see a lot of places in a short amount of time.

So…Go for it!

If you’ve always fancied going somewhere but thought you would never have the time or money to do it, give me a call..let me see if I can make your dream come true.
