Winter 2016/2017 With Oceania Cruises

Are you thinking I have gone mad? Talking about next Winter and the following year? Well, I haven’t honest!  You know I am a great advocate for booking early. I truly believe the earlier you book the better price with benefits you receive.Oceania fro blog

With this in mind, I had to tell you all that Oceania Cruises are launching the 2016/2017 winter cruises on 7th October.  Have you ever been on a Oceania cruise? If you haven’t, perhaps now is the time to try them. They only have 6 ships, and there pretty small compared to the “big boys” Wow they will certainly impress you!

The decor on all of the ships is traditional, a bit like a English Country House. I have never seen so many works of art, which must cost thousands on the walls, and I ate my dinner on a Versace plate! The service from the staff was wonderful yet I never thought it was too much, and let’s face it you can feel like that.  The food was fantastic I have to add.  What I particularly like about Oceania is they know exactly where the food they serve is from. For example lobster from Maine, the lamb from a certain farm in Wyoming – that kind of thing. They are really passionate about the food and so they should be, it is fantastic.  Dining is “open” and there are also some fantastic speciality restaurants to try out, at not much of a supplement considering the quality of food you get.

Luxury cruising can sometimes put people off because they think it will be stuffy and you have to dress up to  “the nines” at dinner every night. With Oceania you don’t. The dress code I would say is country club casual.  Children are also not discouraged however, there are no kids clubs or really much to keep them going, therefore you will find not many children will be on board. If they are there normally very well behaved!

If you love having a bit of pampering then the Canon Ranch Spa is on offer, again just fantastic and well worth a visit.

So, back to next winter? What great offers can entice you? How about up to £3,200 bonus savings per stateroom? Free airfare? Free internet? Free tips? Free house beverage package?  Itineraries ranging from 7 to 180 days, overnight and extended stays in many ports, a refreshing mix of popular destinations, boutique ports and seaside villages – I could go on!

So, if luxury cruising is something you have thought about then perhaps Oceania cruises are for you. With these great early booking offers, they are most definitely worth looking at.
