What Is your Holiday Fantasy?

What an interesting read.  A study into the holiday preferences and habits of people in the UK, questioned 2,347 Britons aged from 18 and over, all of whom had been on holiday abroad at least once within the past 12 months.

I found this very interesting to say the least, and wondered how many of you thought the same!  For example the top 10 British holiday fantasies are as follows:

32% would like to go skinny dipping. 30% to be in a resort full of celebrities (I could think of nothing worse!). 26% want to ride a horse at sunset. 20% want to join the mile high club!. 19% to have no arguments with any family members. 17% to have a holiday romance with a stranger. 15% to have a romantic candlelit dinner. 14% to making love on the beach. 11% want to be rescued by a lifeguard (shades of Bay Watch here!) And finally 8% to be automatically upgraded!

All respondents were also asked “what do you get most excited about when you think of a holiday abroad” – naturally the most common responses were relaxing (31%) and exploring a new destination (25%).  Everyone was also asked how often after they had booked the holiday and actually departing, did they think about or “fantasied” about it. The most popular answers were 53% for once or twice a week and 24% daily.

If I am honest, I think we all have one or two of the above fantasies, but which one? Well that would be telling?!
