Princess Cruises Will Be On TV!

I’m sure you have all watched many documentaries in your time. If your planning to travel with Princess Cruises this year and especially on the Regal Princess, this will be for you!  ITV are to launch a brand new documentary series called “The Cruise” starting in March. This will be in 6 parts following guests and crew on the ship which hopefully will give you all an insight of life on a luxury cruise.

They have picked a nice ship to show of course! The ship only joined the Princess fleet in 2014, classed if you like to a “twin” with the Royal Princess. With approx 3600 passengers on board and some great features, she is certainly one to look out for. 81% of cabins are balcony’s, no ocean views at all. She is elegant and seems to have that fine balance between refinement and fun. What’s more she is 50% larger then all of the other Princess ships!

What can you expect on this ship then? Well let me start with the dining of course. Like any great ship the dining options are amazing. From the more traditional dining to the speciality dining. Did you know there are more then 8 choices if you fancy that. From a gastro pub to Italian, steakhouses, creole, sushi etc!

So dining over, what about what you can do on a sea day? How about making time in the Sanctuary and have a facial or something. Or walk/jog around the track? Go to the lawn court? Sample some sports in the Sports Central area? Gamble in the casino? Shop (of course). Have a walk on the “sea walk” which is a glass walkway above the lido deck, and juts out to sea? Not sure I could do that as afraid of heights, but it sounds wonderful! Or just relax by many of the great pools. Lastly there is a wedding chapel, if you feel the urge!!

The evenings are equally fantastic, from the great shows on board to having a drink in the many bars around the “piazza” area or how about watching movies under the stars? Yep, I think it will do for me!

I don’t think  Princess really need to sell the ship anymore, the quality and service does that itself, however this will “showcase” what Princess offer, and for many of you who have not cruised with Princess before will give you a insight of what they have on board.

I’m looking forward to this – let me know what you think, once the series has started.
