Fancy An Amazing Voyage Of Discovery?

I recently booked some lovely clients onto a Cruise & Maritime cruise for January 2017, they are going to the Amazon via the Caribbean and the Azores, what a voyage that will be!

Travelling out on the well equipped Marco Polo ship, this cruise will take 39 nights in total, you will visit Lisbon, Madeira, and the Cape Verde islands before heading down to Brazil. Have a overnight stay on the ship in the city of Manaus which was once one of the world’s wealthiest cities, before travelling onwards to Parintins. Here they will enjoy some of the fantastic festival held here every year, which is actually second only to the famous carnival in Rio De Janeiro.  2 days later they will get to cruise down some of the famous Amazon river, before venturing out to the Caribbean Islands.

Have you ever seen the film Papillon? You may remember the remote island it was set on. On this cruise you actually get to visit, the island is called Illes du Salut.  Then onwards to Grenada, St Vincent, St Lucia, and Barbados, before eventually arriving back in the Azores again then heading back into the UK.

The Marco Polo is a lovely ship, only takes 800 guests, so has a lovely intimate feel about it. There is plenty to do on the ship for those sea days such as, a swimming pool, 3 whirlpools, 5 lounge areas including a theatre, a lovely spa area or how about just grabbing a book from the well stocked library or play cards in the card room?

If this wets your appetite, it may be worth noting that Cruise & Maritime currently have a “buy one, get one free” promotion, but hurry, like everything else this will end soon.

So, if you do fancy this great trip down to the Amazon, let me know, I am here to help!
