Now That’s Entertainment!

One of the most common phrases used when I talk to non-cruisers or new to cruising customers is ” I’m worried I’ll get bored”.  Many people still imagine traditional deck games or table tennis when it comes to entertainment on board. Whilst these traditional games still feature on some ships, there is so much more to the entertainment available onboard today.

Personally, for me, entertainment is a huge part of my holiday so I like to know what’s going on and I like to plan as much as I can in advance. This is why I thought I would share some of the fantastic facilities available on just a selection of ships. 

Royal Caribbean 

Ripcord by Ifly – Get out of your comfort zone and feel the adrenaline rush as you skydive in the skydiving simulator

Sky Pad – A bungee trampoline experience like no other. Get strapped in and put on your virtual reality headset then get ready for an adventure!

Bumper Cars  – Relive your childhood memories and enjoy bumper cars at sea in the Seaplex

Norwegian Cruise Line

Race Track – Yes that’s Right a Race Track. A first at sea. Jump in a race car and compete with your friends as you race around the track with stunning sea views. ( I would love to do this).

Ropes Course – If you have a stomach for heights, you will love this! Tackle your way through the largest ropes course at sea with over 40 elements to conquer.

Aqua Parks – Take a splash and ride some of the best waterslides at sea.

Cirque Du Soleil – A show definitely not to be missed – Take a sneak peek here

Bowling Alley – Enjoy a game or two on the Full-size bowling alley. Can you get a strike?   

F1 Simulator – Sit in the driver’s seat as you compete in a virtual reality race

As you can see, there is so much to do and these are just a small selection of activities available onboard. There are endless options to choose from, the hardest decision will be what to do first!
