‘The Silver Fox’ Phillip Schofield onboard Princess Cruises for a second time

Princess Cruises’ brand ambassador, Phillip Schofield, recently boarded the Regal Princess as it sailed to the Baltics; the TV personality’s second sailing with the line.

Phillip Schofield said: “After our first cruise with Princess the bar really had been set high. We couldn’t wait to get on Regal Princess and from the moment we boarded, the ship, crew and destinations did not disappoint.”

The Regal Princess carries 3,560 passengers and provides and Phillip shot a series of videos for fans with a snapshot of his time spent both onboard and ashore.

He wanted to show the sheer relaxation of sea days as he sampled the onboard facilities including ‘The Sanctuary’, the line’s luxurious spa-inspired top deck retreat, complete with serenity stewards.

A self-confessed wine enthusiast, Phillip also experiences the Chef’s Table Lumiere, which includes a behind-the-scenes galley tour followed by a multi-course dinner.

The meal was created by the ship’s executive chef and served on a table surrounded by a curtain of light.

Ashore in Oslo, he tried his hand at the art of glass-blowing during a lesson and proved to be a dab hand at this.  He then ventured on to visit an ‘ice bar’ where temperatures dropped.

Schofield continued: “I loved sampling the wealth of onboard facilities available during the calm of a day at sea and the excitement of discovering new activities such as glass blowing.

Cruising has opened not just my eyes, but those of my family, to any number of possibilities available both on Princess’ ships and a wealth of eye-catching destinations. We can’t recommend it enough.” 

In other Princess news, guests are currently being treated to up to $500 free onboard spend.

The offer applies on over 850 cruises setting sail from the end of 2018 up to 2020, for select voyages booked from today until August 30th 2018.

Voyages start from £500pp and range from seven days to 58 days, covering all seven continents.
