My name is Lyndy and I have worked in the travel industry for eight years, three years of these working on a cruise ship.  I enjoy cruising and have had many wonderful experiences both as a passenger and as a crew member (but that’s another story).

I returned from sea in January 2017 (again this may be a later story), and decided to remain on land.  I have visited some wonderful places on my travels and look forward to sharing these memories with you.

I was fortunate to secure a position with cruise.co.uk which meant my passion for travel wouldn’t be extinguished, as I could continue fulfilling my dreams and others’ by offering my experiences and knowledge of the many wonderful destinations I have visited.

I come from a large family of 9 brothers and 1 sister, and I am the baby of them all.

I have two things that I am passionate about, my family and travelling.  I am blessed with two wonderful children, Faye and Dale who I am extremely proud of.  The apples of my eye are my two gorgeous grandsons, Kieran and Jack, aged 8 and 4 respectively.
I love them to bits and enjoy spending time with them and taking them on holiday (without the parents as they’re less trouble without them).

I live in a small town Desborough in Northamptonshire with my cat Stacey, and no I’m not a crazy cat lady.

The world is so large and I’ve only covered a fraction of it.  I’m not a lazing on the beach type of person.  I love to experience different aspects of a country and culture and am fascinated with how civilizations developed and what they achieved, and built with the resources and tools they had available to them.

The other side of me is the ‘big kid’ one. I am a huge Disney fan and Florida has to be my top fun destination. This also includes Universal Studios.

I love seeing children’s faces when they see the wonder of the parks and yes, the ‘Magic’ which is Disney (especially my own children when they were younger), and now I see this in my Grandson’s faces. I have already taken them to Florida twice.

Mostly I just love being a Grandma.

I look forward to us getting to know each other better.
