Magnifica part 2…

So here’s part two of my MSc Magnifica ship visit in the Port of Tyne.
As I said last time she is Italian owned and you can see that everywhere, from the furnishings and colours used throughout the ship.
They have two main dining restaurants where they offer two sittings however the option of freedom is only offered to Aurea guests if this is what you like to opt for its worth looking at the Aurea experience as its really good value and also includes a drinks package with this experience. They also had a buffet restaurant, with a wide choice and you can eat here breakfast lunch and dinner. The specialty resultant oriental plaza was a lovely intimate restaurant offering an alternative to the main dining on board. This restaurant has a supplement to dine in, however, with its intimate authentic setting it definitely would be with a visit.
After our ship tour, I got to sample the food in the main dining restaurant. I chose the salad for the starter which was lovely my main course wasn’t what I expected so decided to sample the buffet which was set up in the same restaurant, which i though was a good idea  as you could mix and match. The had a pasta and carvery station. I opted for the gnocchi which was lovely. Finally for desert I went for the chocolate and raspberry dessert which was delicious.
Msc offers different experiences they offer Bella, Fantastica, Aurea, Wellness then there is the Yacht club which is not available on all ships.
Here’s a link to the different experiences offered and what you get included with each.
Overall my experience on MSC was positive and I would definitely recommend. Next time hopefully I’ll get to sample one of their new additions such as the Seaview, Seaside or even Bellisima due to launch March 2019.
