2017 is Here !!! And What did you do in 2016 ??

So 2017 is here , And we are in our busiest time of the year for booking holidays. I wanted to take the time out and let you get to know me a bit better. See what I was up to in 2016.

I am now well into working for cruise.co (not a newbie anymore) and I am amazed at what I have accomplished in 2016. I started the year with very little knowledge of Packages and now , I am flying through them, even Bucket lists hold no fear for me anymore.

I have been on 5 cruises in 2016 , starting with Britannia back in April (fjords), and what a fantasic cruise that was, I would visit the Fjords again in a heartbeat. So Beautiful.

Then in September I had the privilege to go with Cruise.co to Hamburg and cruise back to Southampton on board MSC Splendida, I made some fantastic friends and could not get over how clean the ship was. We were made very welcome, and the drinks package is amazing (ha ha),The food was fantastic and the Jacuzzi with champagne a must.

October heralded the big one for me and my Husband , along with friends , I set sail on Captain Mcdreamy’s ship Azura for a 14 night cruise to the canary’s. What a fabulous cruise that was. the Orcas and Dolphins at loro park were fantastic to see. Then there was the reading out of thought for a day, never thought I would broadcast to nearly 3500 people. Very scary !!! The food was superb and the itinerary exactly what we needed, with plenty of sea days to relax and then lots to visit too.

I still had 2 more cruise to go , 1st was the Megellan at the beginning of December. This was  just a little quick break to celebrate our little team of musketeers 1 year anniversary with cruise.co. Antwerp was my favourite place. It was a shame the Christmas market had not quite started , but the town its self is stunning. The cathedral was beautiful, and the many chocolate shops a must.

Then of course came the Christmas conference cruise, where we all get to meet up with everyone from the company, a little work involved , but for the most part, fun with our colleagues who we speak to every week but might not see for a year. We are spread all over the country, I like to think that working from home means they have the best staff from the UK , Ireland, Australia and South Africa has to offer. I am sure you would agree.

So we all boarded Fred Olsen Boudicca and hoped over to Dublin. We had a fantastic time and special thanks to our wonderful guide in Dublin, in typical Irish style had us laughing from start to finish. The 80’s fancy dress on the first night went down a storm. This is my roomy Florence, also my best buddy.
