Old MacDonald Had An Olympic Opening Ceremony

we’ve been hearing this week details of the opening  2012 Olympics  which is on the 27th July and what the plans are. I for one cant wait to be honest I’m really excited about it. I know its not everyone’s cup of tea & not everyone is feeling the same  I can understand the reasons why. The feeling is if you don’t live in or around London it will mean absolutely nothing to you, so will probably resent all the attention and money spent which is understandable.

The opening event will include real grass a village cricket team, 12 Horses, 10 Chickens, 70 Sheep, 2 Mosh Pits ( had to google that) 3 Cows 9 Geese and the largest harmonically tuned bell in the world plus other features phew !!!!!

They are even including real clouds to provide some rain ( as if we haven’t had enough) also on that subject- looks like the hose pipe ban is off now – don’t know if that’s good or bad, no excuse now not to wash the car.

The title of the theme is “Isles Of Wonder” and the master mind behind the idea is the Oscar winning  film director Danny Boyle who is very well known for his films they include Slumdog Millionaire & Trainspotting. He has also included the help and ideas of sir Paul McCartney and Take That apparently.
