BREXIT has actually improved cruise numbers!

It’s very easy to assume with a no deal looming and increased uncertainty in our government as well as our High street shops, that holiday numbers and large Bucket list holiday bookings may have slowed down.

You might remember in my last Brexit blog I wrote that we are in uncharted territory, and that there may be more sitting on the fence.

It’s fair to say although this may be true of stocks and shares as well as house prices and currencies, early signs show it has not dampened an incredible growth period for us here at cruise.co.uk

January has seen steady growth in booking numbers and last week was especially busy as customers flocked to book on our exclusive 123 Campaign as well as phoning in and booking via our brand new website.

We have sent top 100 and bucket list brochures with almost all cruise lines having featured branding.

Where Brexit uncertainty helps us in the cruise industry is cruise lines have to offer discounts to offset public feeling about spending money.

This has certainly had the desired effect with our combined effort to allowing our customers the opportunity to get over the January blues with bookings from £1 per person deposits with a further 8 weeks to pay the full cruise deposit. #Terms and conditions apply.

Clia this week offered their support, advise and reassurances to the travel industry regarding Brexit and P&O have gone as far as Brexit proofing their business being the first of no doubt many to actively publish their Brexit promises to customers.

At the time of writing the opposition government have table led a no confidence vote.

In a welcome distraction from all of this political doom and gloom, I for one am excited that so many of you are looking forward to newly booked holidays for 2019-2020.

If you are considering booking a cruise holiday I am at the other end of the phone.
