363 days to go!

So that’s Christmas over with for another year (363 days to be exact!)

Months in the planning and gone in a day. We are still tidying up the mess our 2 little ones made. It was worth it though, to see their little faces as they made there way down the stairs, eager to see if Santa had been (wasn’t quite as exciting being woke up at 3.30am to be told that Santa had left some things in Mollie’s…..erm what do you call it……SOCK!!)

Presents that had hours worth of perfected wrapping were tore open within in a matter of minutes, luckily we remembered to have the bin bags on standby. Then came the painstaking construction of the bright pink play kitchen, nothing tests your patience more then locking many plastic pieces into place while fending off two over excited daughters who can’t wait to play with it.

Luckily this year we didn’t have to cook, which is a godsend because I don’t think Either of us had the energy to even attempt a Christmas Dinner this year. I don’t know if it tasted so good because someone else had done all the hard work or that it was just cooked to perfection, maybe it was both!

All of us were extremely tired that evening and we couldn’t wait to get into our obligatory new pyjamas and climb into bed, dreaming of that lie in on boxing day……. we should have known would never happen!

So today was spent doing not a lot. Relaxing with the kids whilst my wife went to work. Conserving my energy for one of the busiest times in the travel industry’s calendar. This will be my 20th January spent working in the industry and I will be spending the majority of it locked away in my office. Ensuring I send everybody who contact’s me away on their perfect cruise. With so many offers available, I am looking forward to speaking to as many people as possible to make sure nobody misses out on so many amazing deals.

Before I go I mentioned in my last blog about my fancy dress. Luckily we didn’t have to eat in it on-board the Marco Polo but I did have to try and drink in it whilst trying to navigate the ship during an extremely choppy sailing. So here’s a picture of me and some of my colleagues.

All that is left is for me to thank all my customers and everybody who is reading this and wish you all a Very Happy New Year. Oh and by the way I can happily confirm that I received plenty of new socks!
