Here comes Spectrum Of The Seas

Just when you thought Royal Caribbean couldn’t get any better, along comes Spectrum Of The Seas, the first Quantum-Ultra class vessel. Earlier this week Royal Caribbean’s newest ship was floated out from behind the iron gates, where the world awaited their first glimpse of this magnificent ship. And what a sight it was.

Once Spectrum of the Seas has left the dock, she will berth at Meyer Werft’s out-fitting pier to be fitted with its funnel cladding.  If the weather holds up, the plan is for the North Star to be installed, she will remain in the shipyard for further work and on board trials until the ship’s journey through the river Ems up to the North Sea for her sea trials which should occur sometime in March 2019. Exciting times ahead for both Royal Caribbean and the ship builders, the Quantum class is truly a remarkable ship in so many ways.

New features on board range from the Sky Pad, Splashaway Cafe, Teppanyaki, The Noodle Bar, Sichua Red to the firm favourites of IFly by Ribcord and the North Star . For those travelling with families we also have the Ultimate family suite which features two stories of awesome thrills on every level. Like your very own in-suite slide where there’s never a line, an air hockey table, and table tennis on your balcony. Not to mention your own Royal Genie who’s always ready to arrange exclusive access to the best of everything on board. It’s the ultimate collection of memory making opportunities plus plenty of space for everyone in the family. These suites are an impressive 1,346 sq feet and sleeps up to 8 passengers

Although the new Royal Caribbean cruise ship is getting set to explore Asia, she will be spending a brief time in Europe with some truly fantastic itineraries starting with a maiden sailing from Barcelona to Dubai, departing on the 18th April 2019 for 15 nights. Her next itinerary, a beautifully crafted 14 nights from Dubai to Singapore before commencing her regular schedule of 4 – 7 nights in the Far East. We can tailor make these itineraries to suit your requirements and create a magical Far East adventure just for you!
