What will the Weather be like?

It is probably the thing we all use to make small talk and sometimes we don’t really have an interest in but should we pay more attention researching the weather before you choose your next trip.

One of the things that I always find funny in my job is talking about the weather to customers who sometimes seem oblivious to what it will be like at the time they want to go. Now to some it’s not that big a deal but for others depending on when and where they want to go it really could make or break the prefect holiday. Some people just assume if you go to the Caribbean for example it will be hot year round and whilst yes it will be, would you really want to go in the middle of hurricane season from May – October or would you rather go November – April and enjoy much calmer weather and escape the cold at home.

Probably the main destination that most people need advice on is the Far East and I have personally been asked a few times in the last few days when is the best time to go? there are a few really good tools to help you with this, many brochures feature a section towards the back with useful advice and on weather and vaccinations, you can look to see when cruises are available as most cruise lines try and link destinations with the best time to go from a good weather point of view. If you look and research then you should be able to get the best of the weather as possible but as we all know the weather does not always do as it’s supposed to. What we can say though is it will be better than here!
