From Hong Kong to Hampshire!

I’m feeling a little pleased with myself this week as I have managed to package together a wonderful trip that a customer asked me about and save her £1000’s in the process. The customer rang up and asked about a brilliant offer our Tailor made department had put together for a package for a stay Hong Kong and then a cruise from there to Dubai for a total of 20 nights at a price starting from only £1899 per person, Fantastic value when you have flights, private transfers and hotels on top of the cruise included for that price.

Within a few hours of us emailing this out and putting on our website I had an enquiry for this and thought the price must be incorrect but I was wrong, it was all available and I got the customer booked there and then in a balcony cabin for £2299 per person.

The next day I had another enquiry and when talking to this customer she asked if we could do this cruise ( which is part of the Arcadia world journey in 2015 ) and do the next part from Dubai and sail to Southampton, a further 18 Nights. I said I would look to see if I could get the voyage all the way through but thought it was unlikely as I knew how popular the world cruise and sections have been. I managed to find a cabin from Hong Kong to Southampton for the 38 nights cruise at a fare of £3979 per person for an inside cabin, but still needed to add flights hotels and transfers to the cost so it was going to work out a lot more than the package we had. I then started playing around with the different sections of the voyage and manged to get the cruise a lot cheaper by booking the cruise as two separate bookings One from Hong Kong to Dubai and the other from Dubai to Southampton, I then did not need the return flight we had on the package from Dubai so managed to book a one way direct flight, private car transfers from the airport to the Cosmopolitan hotel for a 2 night stay, Honk Kong Harbour night cruise and a private transfer from the Hotel to the Port. So how much did this come to altogether £3099 per person £900 per person cheaper than booking the cruise all the way through. The customer was delighted and I think it is one of the best value bookings I have ever done for what is included. Just look at the full cruise itinerary below
