P&O 175th Anniversary in 2012
They say that time flies by ever faster as you get older and it’s right! I can’t believe that another year has flown by and we are pre-registering people for cruises 2012 and 2013 already.
There are so many exciting new itineraries and destinations on offer that it really is an exciting time – more of that later.
Two very special events really stand out during 2012. On June 5th, to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee, the three Cunard Queens will all meet in Southampton and then sail off together on their respective voyages.
The other event is to celebrate 175 years of P&O, and on July 3rd 2012 all seven ships will meet in Southhampton before sailing away. Can you imagine the traffic jams that day! I must say though, it will be an amazing spectacle, well worth making the effort to be a part of it, and I’ve already started pre-registering people who want to book early on these voyages as they know they will be popular and sell out fast.
