It’s Ant on Deck!

……….. and he will be joined by his partner in crime, Declan Donnelly on board P&O’s new flagship Britannia from where they will be doing a live screening of Saturday Night Takeaway on Saturday 2nd April 2016. They will be performing in front of a live audience, to include passengers, and they will also be joined by celebrity guests.

Britannia will depart Southampton on 27th March on a 14 night Mediterannean voyage and the live screening will take place while the ship is berthed overnight in Barcelona. Throughout earlier episodes of the show viewers will be given the chance to travel on the voyage which as well as calling at Barcelona will visit Cadiz, Rome, Corsica and Gibralter. What a fab way to spend the Easter holidays! I for one will be tuning in and entering. The series starts on Saturday 20th February and during the seven week run up to 200 lucky viewers will have the chance to win the cruise.

P&O have always been noted for their entertainment on board but this is a real coup for them. Ant and Dec have to be the most popular double act on TV these days. At this years BAFTA Awards the programme was voted ‘Best Entertainment Programme’. Ant and Dec’s popularity just keeps increasing!

There will be minor disruption in the pool area in the days leading up to the screening but I am sure that the chance to be part of the audience of the live show will more than compensate.
